Colored pencil, 4 x 6 inches

Artist's Note:

I am excited by the idea of creating what poet /artist Rosemarie Waldrop describes as "sparks from the edges". I make color-driven visual art by assembling found materials, including magazine and catalogue scraps, and other ephemera  (postage stamps, blueprints, and lottery tickets, etc.), and sometimes adding text from vintage books or typed on a manual typewriter. This piece is made from magazines and catalogue scraps on a 4" x  6" canvas, painted white.
